Charities
Raising money for local charities is at the heart of Epworth Choir's mission, as determined by founder, Walter Deakin.
Every year the committee review suggestions from choir members as to which charities the choir should support the following season. Every concert supports a different charity by providing an opportunity for a representative from the charity to speak to the audience about the work they carry out. Donations are then collected at the end of the performance.
