Acting Accompanist
Rob Stafford
Rob has been a member of the Epworth Choir since the early 1990’s. He sung as a chorister under the direction of Barry Jackson until 1995 when he took on the role of official accompanist to the Choristers. In 2002 Rob was appointed the choirs official accompanist and filled the role until 2005 when he was appointed Musical Director for the Epworth youth Choir.
Rob has an active interest in the music community. He has for many years accompanied choirs and musicians in performances, examinations and music festivals, most notably the prestigious Woking Music Festival. As well as performing he also enjoys teaching piano in his spare time.
The Haydn Creation concert on the 14th April is his first concert under the direction of Matthew Willis; Rob hopes very much indeed that the audience will enjoy hearing the concert as much as we will enjoy performing it.
